Summer Solstice

Happy second day of summer!
We're starting it off right,
with a broken air-conditioner...
105 degrees never felt so good!

This is what our D@d's D@y 2010 looked like...

We sure had a nice day today....
(it's so nice to have Candice back in the mug shot with us again....)

The kids love having Kurt as there dad, he's a great one, which I am so grateful for, especially with C and C right now, I try, but.........
it was fun to honor him today!

I am so grateful for my earthly father,
he's such a great man in every way, I admire his unconditional outlook on life, even his name is cool....(Lowry)
Kurt's father pasted away a few years ago, but on days like this, you can't help but reflect on life's lessons that you learned from them...

We're getting ready to hit the road, we're all excited to see all our family and to ride in the big rig, it's going to be quite the adventure...

my last day....

When I got to work this morning,
they had a frame picture for me of the kiddo's
with the sweetest note from R & R....

We've shared alot in the last three years,
two new borns, extra date nights, overnights, hometeams, haircuts, errands and so many smiles and blessings...

that's why leaving is bittersweet!

The summer has hit hard and fast.....
we haven't even had time to enjoy the long lazy dog days of summer yet,
before we are off and running...

Kurt took Spencer with him out on the road,
they left Saturday and won't be back until next Friday,
they drove past Mt. Rushmore today,
and Spencer though that was "pretty dang cool"
then they'll deliver in Arizona some time later in the week,
what a fun childhood memory to be able to go to work with your dad all week and have all that one-on-one attention!

Caitlyn goes to girls camp tomorrow,
she is a YCL this year,
I really miss not going,
but
I will get the chance to go up on Friday,
Caitlyn will be surprised!!!

Candice is keeping busy with work and friends,
she went to graduation today up at The Coliseum to see a lot of her friends walk the stage,
I can't believe she will be walking next year,
boy, this year is going to fly by...
it's good to have her home.

Lynzie is just happy to be out of school,
and happier than happy to get to sleep in mom's bed this week while dad is gone!
and she even gets to go to work with me!

speaking of,
This is my last week of work....

It seems like a lot of changes and things happening,
I have a lot of things floating around in my head,
things to do and things I should do....
the list never ends.
and then again,
we get through this week,
and
next week we're off to Utah,
I can't wrap my brain around packing yet...

did I mention I have my 25th class reunion!! weird, I know!

I looking forward to spending the 4th of July in Utah,
love that time of year.

and amazingly enough something about Utah makes my head stop spinning,
at least for a little while!

we're so proud of our new graduate....

Can you see Spencer receiving his diploma and graduating from the 5th grade!?

yea, me either!

Time to get a new camera.
preferably one that actually takes pictures at the precise moment that you would like to capture the moment!!!!

just sayin'...

meanwhile, back at the ranch...

let the dance-off begin!

other than my camera is soo slooow,
that I was about 3 seconds late in trying to
capture all the 'funny as heck' moves...
Cj and Spencer had some pretty tight moves,
Spencer even had names for his... and his signature move was to die for...
Caitlyn has her father's rhythm.... (sorry baby)

it sure is nice to have Candice home again,
dance skills and all!

( it's not the photo, it's the memory that I want to remember!)

Welcome Home....

It's so nice to have Cj home again...

now that she's back with us, i feel complete,
she's had a fun adventure being a foreign ex-change student for the past 5 months,
she's been telling us stories, and we've been laughing at her adventures...
blog ya later!
