Cujo?

When we found out Kurt was moving immediately and we weren't...
I said, let's move into an apartment and save a boatload of money!!!
and so we did,
well,
and so we are...
next month or in just a short 3 weeks,
maybe, that's why I'm having troubles sleeping, like right now, it's only 4:37 am
and my mind won't relax, there is so much to do between here and there,
I should just get up and do it, but I don't, I lay here and try my hardest to sleep...

I'm excited to move,
we will take just a few things and put the rest of the stuff into storage,
and by a few things I mean a few things,
cuz the apartments is s.m.a.l.l.
I knew when we moved away from this house anything we move into would seem smaller,
cuz this house is big and we've gotten so spoiled but,
I really had to breathe big deep breathes cuz 1433 sq. feet is a little bit smaller than the 3400 we are use too,
but....
there are so many advantage, that it will be worth it and kind-of fun,
I'll update those advantages later.
Apparently, signing up for a 6 month lease is very serious business,
you almost have to sign over any unborn children and do paperwork...
oh, the paperwork,
I hate it, thank goodness Kurt was here to do it all last week!
I even had to take a picture of Sadie and e-mail it over,
I guess to show them that we aren't lying that she really is a
cock-a-poo instead of a cujo!?!

#9101

It's been a busy week!
I'm finally able to wrap my mind around moving...kind-of.
and
doing everything I have to do between here and there,
but,
there has been a lot of sleepless nights for me, wow!
So many times my mind has traveled back to
(here I go again, getting weepy just thinking about it)
my mission,
after 18 months in Italy my mission was over and it was time to go home,
you feel stuck between a rock and a hard place,
excited to go home....but so sad to leave a place where you've grown to love!
that's how I'm feeling now,
I've loved Texas, but I love Utah too,
Utah is my home.
my family is there and my kids need family, grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles
and growing up in a Mormon community, I did and I loved it!
We've lived here ten years, Lynzie was 5 months old when we arrived,
it's all she's known...
So...
here we go into a new chapter in our lives...

Kurt accepted the job.....

he'll leave and start in a few weeks,
while the rest of us will stay here and finish school.
I have mixed emotions of course,
but
we've been thinking and talking about this for a long time
so, it's not like a surprise and a shock...
it's just weird that now it's reality!

I'm too overwhelmed to say anymore!

a quick trip to utah...

Kurt got another quick trip to Utah
(this is his 3rd week in a row)
so,
Sadie and I decided to jump in at the last minute and go with him,
it was a quick, fun trip.

Can you even imagine getting to spend 20+ hours of drive time with your husband, and you get to talk and talk and no one interrupts you?.....
ya, it was kind-of nice!

I loved driving down Spanish Fork Canyon,
right when your almost at the bottom, you turn the corner and out of nowhere
are these huge white windmill turbines,
it's always so cool to see them,
it's like something out of Close Encounters of Third Kind,
doo-doo-doo-dooooo

even the big black bugs on Kurt's windshield liked em!

and of course,
Utah wouldn't be Utah without getting a new hair-do by the famous Pollyanna...

ilovethatgirl.

I finally went to Sweet Tooth Fairy Cupcake Shop,
and of course,
got a pumpkin-chocolate chip cupcake with cream cheese frosting,
it was too rich, but good... I wasn't complaining, but my tummy sure did a little later!
I looked everywhere for Cjane or NieNie,
but, they were nowhere to be found!

Sundance is oh so beautiful this time of year,
come to think about it, it's beautiful all year round, the change of the seasons are amazing, especially when you live in the Lone Star State and that doesn't happen to much around these parts,
with all the Autumn in the air, not only were the colors so pretty to look at,
but even the air smells refreshing and good,
we drove up around Sundance with the sunroof open,
that's the only way to do it, or in a convertible,
then we
started to drive up the Alpine Loop,
but the road stared to get too narrow for this Texas girl
so I make Kurt turn around!

it was fun to see my mom and dad again,
and
Dave, Kris, O, M and E,
and
Kyle,
we even managed to take our regular.cheesy.quick.picture.together,
we are getting quite a picture collection.
