half empty or half full...

What a weird week!

where to begin.....

okay

so...

I've felt like I was misunderstood this week

which is the worst feeling ever!

so...

Zack came and interviewed at Kurt's work and because of the clause

(that they didn't know about)

he can't work there, which is okay...

but

then to have the HR lady say

" he should not even be on the premises,

he needs to leave immediately!"

WOW!

REALLY!

so...

I've been dealing with my paychecks being wrong since January,

everyone blames everyone else

and

the answer is never the same,

I have heard some pretty weird things this week concerning the subject....

if

it were the boss would

his

paychecks continually be wrong?

so...

one of my kids behavior was weird....

okay, weirder than normal,

so you do what any good parent would do,

sit down and talk and come to an understanding of

choice and accountability

you take a big sigh of relief

until

the very next day, they do it AGAIN!

so...

you run to the store for some

milk, bread and a stick of butter

(and chocolate Easter eggs, of course)

your card won't process......hummm...

your on the phone (on hold) with the bank for over an hour before you finally hang up

only to find out the next day

that they put a blocked on your card

because of suspicious activity from a 3rd party,

which ...

is a good thing that they are watching out for your money

but

not a good thing because they have to take action so quickly because of fraud

that they don't have time to let you know that your card doesn't work!

and

so, you are left standing in the grocery line

feeling like an idiot!

so...

the day is over

and your laying down cuddling with your littlest one,

she's finally asleep

you roll over to get out ever so quietly

but

your bum knee DOES NOT roll with you

or maybe it rolled before you....

I don't know

but

now your knee doesn't want to bend

(pain)

and your walking with a crutch!!!

so...

your older daugthter has a funky

stomach bug.... that comes with a fun Dr. visit.

(the fun never ends!!)

so in a nutshell...

I've had a nervous stomach all week

which

tomorrow is only Friday

but

I'm trying to stay positive

and even though my glass looked half empty at times...

it was always have full...

because things could have been worse!

and

I'M SO GRATEFUL THERE NOT!!!

everyone is excited that he's here...

Kurt and I have always loved Zach's tender heart,

the older girls are amazed to have a teenage boy hangin around,

and the littlest girl wore her cute new dress

and even ask me to curl her hair,

(she just wanted to look pretty)

and Spencer...

he is so excited to have a older. male. brother-type. friend.

he'll take anything he can get!

"practice bra"

thats what she called it...

last week we were ready

so 3 ever so cute teeny, tiny, white, pink and grey's were bought

ready for "practice"

Due to alittle stomach ache,

i made a bed for Lynzie in our room last night,

in the wee hours of the dark, still morning

at the foot of my bed,

i hear her say

"mom "

"do you remember Charlotte?............

ya know the spider from Charlottes web"?

(uh-hmm)

"She acts like a church member

because she never yells at anyone.....

and, she's humble!

Tuesday to the Thursday

i love wednesday's

for you see, they are my day's off.

so today....

after getting all my kids safely and happily to school

i got to crawl back into my bed,

right on top of my warm heating pad

and listening to the rain outside...

i was a happy girl!

my bed....

a luxury that is at the top of my list

especially

after being woken up several times during the night from

stomach aches to bad dreams

as i lay there feeling happy

i couldn't help but

reflect

on all that which i am grateful for...

flannel sheets

beds

rain

pillows

heating pads

kids safely at school

my garden

AND

wednesdays!

life is good!

really...

We planted a garden...

We had the missionaries over and grilled fahita's

got to share the gospel with Jerry...Candice's friend.

we were "planting seeds" all day

it will be fun to see

what our seeds will sow!)
