Our Valentine Tradition
is exactly the same every
February 14th...
and, yet... every
February 14th
my kids always seem to be surprised !?!
except one year when i thought....
they're probably out growing this
and are tired of the same thing
year after year
and so i didn't do it that year!
but, oh boy, i wish i had...
they missed our little family
of
waking up to a 'old navy' valentine shirt
and
tons of hersey's chocolate kisses
scattered all over there beds and floor!
Who would of thought that the same thing
year after year
would bring so much
happiness
year after year...
just about as much as
*Last year grandma Peggy was here and we got to
initiate her into our happy heart day family tradition...
we wish she was here again!!!

Julie do you recognize monica in this picture. Mike and I don't have a blog so I had to sign in on Monica's blog. It was great to see your family and all that you have been doing for the last 20 years. You have a beautiful family and it looks like you are very happy. That is such a fun tradition. And you're right, no matter how old your kids are - they wont grow out of it.
